Jim Koeppe is the President and CEO of CLOCworks Inc. He has an extensive background with high tech start-up companies in semiconductors, wireless communications, internet of things, and cleantech industries. Jim is passionate about customer focused product design and has a unique ability directing highly technical organizations to provide valuable client solutions. Prior to creating CLOCworks, Jim served in roles of Software Business Lead, Software Product Manager, and Principal Engineer. As part of his experience, Jim created a new line of business, opened and managed a new facility, and hired a team of software engineers that designed a smart, cloud connected, software platform that currently manages over $20 million dollars of energy assets.

Joel Haynie, Chief Technical Officer for CLOCworks, has more than 18 years of hardware and software system design experience. Joel is known within CLOCworks as a consensus builder, mentor, peer and holder of the system wide technical vision. He is a life-long learner who enjoys expanding his technical understanding, as evident by obtaining several undergraduate and graduate degrees in Science and Engineering. His passion for solving challenging problems has led him to work in a variety of fields: Industrial PCs, Telecommunications, Streaming Media, Data Storage, Power Control Systems, User Interfaces, IOT (Embedded) Devices, and Cloud Services. He has designed, built, and deployed systems that vary from a multi-tasking embedded microcontroller to a scheduled cluster of cloud-based services. Always making sure his solutions are tailored to the specifics of the applications’ demands. He likes to say he’s a “Full Stack Systems Engineer from Ground to Cloud.” He strives to always balance the technical challenges of novel designs with the demands of the market and business.

Daniel Armendariz received his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Originally beginning his career in hardware engineering he soon moved to the embedded firmware field, and then expanded his focus to include software design as well developing a vast portfolio of applications in C, C++, and Java. Recently he moved on to develop cloud platforms using C++, Java and Scala. His ever-expanding knowledge base also includes front-end web technologies such as Angular.js, Node.js, and Typescript. He has designed software seen in production all the way from embedded C on a microcontroller to distributed cloud applications. Dan enjoys learning new frameworks and technologies and most recently has turned his focus toward scalable distributed cloud platforms and big data processing.
